You hear a lot these days about green this green that, but what exactly is green cleaning? 

Green cleaning is cleaning with a product which has a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment than a comparative product that serves the same purpose.
  
At VHS Commercial Services we have implemented green programs for anything from general cleaning and disinfecting, to green carpet cleaners that are 100% food grade products with absolutely no chemicals or detergents.  

Our most recent green program is our hard floor program:  we now have floor finishes, cleaners and strippers with green seal certification.
